The Middle East Market Provides an Opportunity for the Active Promotion of Ukrainian Walnuts in the World
As recently as 10 years ago, a significant part of the nut market in Ukraine was formed by small batches of crops harvested by people in forest belts, their own gardens, or near roads and fields. Nowadays, the owners of industrial gardens, where they collect varietal nuts, who begin to enter the market, are powerful competitors for world producers.
Currently, several dozen industrial nut producers plan to export according to a pre-planned strategy and processing of semi-finished products.
This year, Ukraine presented domestic companies for the eighth time at the international food exhibition GULFOOD in Dubai.
33 Ukrainian companies presented their products at two national stands organized by the Export Promotion Center of the Kyiv CCI and the International Trade Center (ITC) project in Ukraine.
Another 5 companies introduced visitors to their products on behalf of the local Ukrainian company UBH General Trading with registration in the UAE (at the stand of UBH General Trading).
For the first time in the world food exhibition GULFOOD 2020, the Ukrainian Nut Association also debuted with its stand.
It is noted that Ukrainian walnut producers consider exports to the Middle East as a profitable niche and an opportunity to actively promote Ukrainian walnuts in the world.
