Agricultural Products’ Trade Volumes between Ukraine and China in the First Half of 2020 Increased by 71%

Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy China International Trade Representative Yu Jianhua reported that according to the General Customs Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the volume of bilateral trade between Ukraine and China in agricultural products in the first half of 2020 amounted to 2.7 billion US dollars, that is for 71 % more than in the same period last year.

 

This was reported by the press service of the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine.

 

It should be noted that the export of Ukrainian agricultural products amounted to 2.4 billion US dollars, and the main export items were corn, sunflower meal, and sunflower oil.

 

“The Chinese official also emphasized that China is interested in the comprehensive development of soybean exports from Ukraine to China,” the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine noted.
